A FUND-raising event for Lydney Health Centre will take place at Beechenhurst on Saturday, April 23.

The 8km walk along the Hickster’s Trail will raise funds to upgrade the surgery in the centre of Lydney.

Patients and supporters are welcome to join staff members and sponsor forms can be obtained from the surgery in Albert Street.

A spokesman for the practice said: “The route can be tackled in any form – walking, running, cycling, dog walking.

“We envisage this as a fun family day out and it will start at 10.30am.”
