PARKEND has held a carnival for the last 43 years. This year's event was once more a great success with many charitable organisations benefiting from their stall on the field.

The small number of committee members would not be able to set up the various marques and equipment required without the help of 'extra hands' throughout the weekend.

The committee would like to express their sincere thanks to all those from the village and from other areas who helped in any way. Without the extra help the carnival wouldn't happen. Your contributions were much appreciated.
