THIEVES who raided an engineering workshop on a farm near Newent have stolen a large quantity of metal.

The haul included brass rods, stainless steel bars plus bronze and aluminium motor shaft components.

The theft, from Lower Boulsdon Farm, took place overnight last Thursday. Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious taking place in the area that night.
