THIS week will be the last chance to enter this year's 'Battle of the Bands Competition' being held as a showcase of local talent with the winners performing on the main stage at the Coleford Music Festival and awarded £100 first prize.
Many entries have been submitted from bands wanting to play. Event organiser Susan Pritchard from PMT Promotions said: "The standard of entry has been very high again this year. We are very much looking forward to seeing the bands perform, it will be a superb showcase of local talent.
"The event this year has grown, we have had so many DJs approach us as well wanting to take part that this year that we are going to run a 'Battle of the DJs' competition as well."
The event will be held at Berry Hill Rugby Club on May 5.
