FINAL rehearsals are underway for Off Centre Theatre’s (OCT) production of Deadly Nightcap, which runs from Thursday, November 24 until Saturday, November 26 at the Savoy Theatre in Monmouth.

Spokesperson for the group, Tony Summers said: “This is a riveting murder mystery written by acclaimed author Francis Durbridge. Set in the 1960s, the storyline centres on a greedy, philandering husband and a susceptible, and at times gullible, wife. However, the audience will be kept on tenterhooks throughout as not only are the ‘who dunnits’ a mystery, but also at times,‘who died’ is in question.

“The plot takes several twists and turns, with murder mistaken for suicide and confessions disguising truths. Add in a mix of blackmail and adultery and audiences will be kept glued to their seats throughout the performances.

“The cast and crew feature most of the team that won the Hereford Festival in March this year.”

Director for the production is OCT chair, Stuart MacFarlane. The performance begins at 7.30pm each evening.
