A FOREST landlady fears her business could be damaged by visits from wild boar.
Avis Robinson, who runs the Rising Sun at Moseley Green with husband Mick, says she was reduced to tears when she saw the damage caused by the animals to an area which is used by families.
She said: "I'm not against the boar, I don't want to see them slaughtered.
"What I want is someone to tell me what I can do to stop them. Is there something I can put down to stop them going to particular parts?
"They've dug up part of the bank that children run up to go into the woods. If they come back and dig up any more the children won't be able to get into the woods.
"We're a family pub and parents like the fact that the children can go off into the woods and be safe.
"I'm worried that they will come back and rip up more of the land around our pond.
"People like to sit around the pond and watch the fish and the kingfishers but if the land is ripped up by the boar they won't be able to do that.
"It's tough enough as it is with people not having much money to spend – this is just making it more difficult."
