THE family of the Fetter Hill fire victim have received £800 to help re-build her home.
Punters packed out the Crown Inn at Coalway for a charity karaoke evening for Lesley Tickner, who was involved in a serious house fire back in September.
Landlord Ivor Squire said: "I chose to put the night on as Lesley's daughter, Keeva, is one of my barmaids. Lesley is still in hospital and is stable but not very good and so we thought as a way of helping her we would hold an evening.
"We had a full house and lots of people got on the karaoke - it was a really good night. I must thank Brian Jacobs for all his help organising the event and those who came along to support us."
