BERRY Hill-based record producer and songwriter John David, who has worked with with the likes of Status Quo and Shakin' Stevens, has secured a recording deal with Tabitha Records, for a protégé of his – Bo Walton.
Bo, who used to play scrum-half for Berry Hill Rugby Club in his teens and now lives in Hereford, recorded a whole album of material at John's Berry Hill recording studio.
Most of the songs were co-written with John who says: "Bo is one of the best singers and performers that I have ever worked with, and has all the attributes to become a huge star."
The first release is a two track single, with the titles 'S Too Much and Hey Mister Night, and features contributions from guitar legends Mark Knopfler, and the late great Micky Gee.
Waiting On A Dream, will be out early next year.
