BLAISDON’S Red Hart Inn has been named CAMRA Pub of the Year 2016 for the Forest of Dean area. The result comes after the Campaign for Real Ale asked local members to vote for their favourite.
The pub offers four real ales and local ciders. Owner Sharon Hookings was joined by CAMRA members and regulars last week for the presentation ceremony. She says: “In support of our local breweries, we had Wye Valley Brewery’s Butty Bach and Bespoke Brewery’s King’s Shilling on tap among others. I am grateful to my wonderful team and the support of our customers for keeping the Red Hart a fabulous place to come and enjoy a pint or dine in style.”
