ALMOST 130 hardy souls turned up to do battle at the Rogueruns off-road night race at Moseley Green.

Runners from across the Wyedean area had a fun and eventful night as they were confronted by mud, wildlife, and a challenging six-mile track.

But all was not lost as participants were rewarded with burger and chips in the pub afterwards!

Nikola Morgan, of Rogueruns, said: "Rogueruns are indebted to their fabulous marshals and helpers, without whom they would not be able to stage the event. Thanks also to the National Diving and Activity Centre in Tidenham who sponsored the event by providing head-torch prizes for the first man and woman and spot prizes."
