SIXTH-formers from Wyedean School in Sedbury made a real song and dance in the centre of Chepstow.

About 60 students formed a "flashmob" singing seasonal tunes and dancing in Beaufort Square to surprised shoppers.

They also performed at Tutshill Church of England Primary School and Offa's Mead Academy in Sedbury.

Each of the students has donated £5 and got sponsorship which will go to homelessness charity Shelter Cymru.

Previous flashmobs have raised around £1,000 for charity and students have also slept in the open overnight to raise awareness of homelessness.
