FOREST Enterprise is to call for talks with NTL to see if the controversial proposals for Tetra facilities at Pillowell can be solved by moving the mast.
Parents of pupils who attend the village school were joined by local residents in a protest on Tuesday morning and afterwards talked to Forest Enterprise area land agent Richard Davies at Coleford.
FE spokesman Val Long said Mr Davies had listened sympathetically to the protests and would be seeking a meeting with NTL to consider the prospect of an alternative site.
Parent Ellen Watkins said the meeting with Mr Davies had been "very encouraging."
"He discussed the possibility of a better site and we were pleased with that. It's too early to talk of victory and we remain committed to win this battle. We are determined to fight this one to the bitter end," she said.
