DISCOVER more about moths as the sun goes down on Saturday night.
Moth traps hidden throughout the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust's Lancaut reserve near Chepstow will capture a variety of the 2,500 species of moth recorded in the area.
Among the moths that might be seen are a buff-tip which looks just like a broken twig, or a moth with a nine centimetre wing span.
The cost is £3 for adults and £2 for children. Call 01452 383333 to book a place for the event which starts at 9pm.
Reserve manager Kevin Caster said: "Moths can often be overlooked as dull insects but in reality they are quite amazing."
