TOLLS on the Severn bridges will be halved in 2018, the Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced.
George Osborne made the announcement during his Budget speech to the House of Commons this afternoon.
He said: "From 2018 we are going to half the price of tolls on the Severn Bridge."
The move will reduce the cost of crossing to Wales to £3.30 for cars, £6.60 for vans and £9.90 for buses and lorries.
