FOLLOWING on from the letter headed 'Nightmare Journeys' regarding Stagecoach buses, I?am writing to say I agree 100 per cent.

It would appear that passengers who use the Number 23 bus service are held in very low esteem by Stagecoach managers.

For years the buses used on this route have been shabby, dirty and unreliable. Obviously, the vehicles being used are well past their sell by date.

In fact, most of us probably breathe a sigh of relief if we manage to reach our destination without some mechanical hiccup or breakdown, which occur on a regular basis.

For some reason, known only to Stagecoach, this bus route would appear to have been targeted to receive clapped out, end of the line buses. People living in the Forest of Dean deserve better.

Isn't it time some financial investment was put into providing decent, reliable vehicles, so passengers using Forest buses can, at last, stop feeling like second class citizens?

Surely, a bus service which provides a reliable, punctual service should not be too much to ask.
