Hard work and seven-days-a-week dedication to Bathurst Pool in Lydney make Sheila and Bob Berryman worthy winners of the Review Community Heroes Thank You awards Group Award.

Bob and Sheila dedicate their lives to the open-air pool which provides a friendly and relaxed meeting place for all ages.

Accepting the award from sales director Paul Higman, Bob stressed that the vital role of the volunteers and trustees who keep the pool going.

He said: "Without them, we could not do what we do."
