I HAVE just seen a programme on the television that sickened me. It showed the utter disregard for the planet by the authorities.

I refer to the decision to throw back into the sea anything caught that doesn't comply to EU rules.

Who are these unfeeling idiotic maniacs who are in charge?

When I watched the fish being thrown back I did so for a very short time; I felt sick, apparently thousands of tonnes are being discarded.

What a sin. None of God's creatures deserve to be treated so.

If this is the organisation which make the rules, the quicker we get out of the EU the better.

If I had my way nothing would be thrown back. I am willing to be told I am wrong, but the fishing industry must find a better way. I await for a better way to preserve the fish stocks.
