AT last the Foresters got it right! The snow duly arrived to greet us on our travels to work last Tuesday morning.

I travel from Coleford to Blakeney via Bream and Lydney and I would like to bring to the attention of other cautious road users like myself the erratic actions of two assumed qualified drivers who should know better.

Their actions could have caused a serious accident.

I was travelling as part of slow moving convoy of vehicles from Bream to Lydney when one selfish person overtook approximately five of us down the hill through Devil's Chapel.

Not to be outdone, another car driver overtook a similar number of cars along the top road by Brockhollands having to swiftly pull in front of an oncoming lorry.

While local radio constantly broadcast the threat of black ice in the Forest, why do the few have to jeopardise the many? I say the quicker we get 40mph the better.

Then they may have time to think that their actions could injure other people. – Name and address supplied.
