JUST before Christmas the Dean Singers sang carols in the Maltings at Ross in aid of the Air Ambulance and raised £320 thanks to shoppers, who contributed generously and expressed their enjoyment of the singing.

The mayoress went out of her way to donate and added her thanks to the choir. The Maltings provided mince pies and a gentleman joined the choir to sing Silent Night. The choir also sang in the carol services at Clements End chapel and the Bilson Mission Church, Cinderford, but snow caused the pre-Christmas concert at Broadwell to be cancelled.
