A FESTIVE wreath with a difference has gone on display in the centre of Chepstow.
Instead of holly and other plants the wreath is made up of bootees knitted for premature babies.
They were made by members of the Chepstow Knitters group and others who enjoy getting the knitting needles out.
The wreath is on display at the Herbert Lewis store in High Street, Chepstow and will be donated to a special care baby unit in Bridgend.
Margaret Payne, of Chepstow Knitters, said: "The bootees were made by Chepstow Knitters and others who are not members but who kindly knit for us."
Dee Griffith, managing director of Herbert Lewis, said: "The wreath looks lovely and it will have a very practical use after Christmas."
