SO, Cllr. Hogan of Lydbrook implies that everybody who wants to leave the EU has basically right-wing leanings.
His sneering attitude to those who disagree with his point of view is typical of those who support the ‘in’ campaign.
He would have us believe that it’s OK to send billions of pounds to prop up an inefficient and shambolic super state that is the EU – run by unelected bureaucrats who cannot control the spending of the vast wealth that pours into their coffers every year.
Even with an acceptable error of two per cent of money spent; as allowed by international standards, they managed to achieve an incredible 4.4 per cent error or a massive 6.27 billion euros
Fraud, stolen or just plain incompetence, who knows?
The EU rules that allow migrants to work over here for less money obviously delights the ‘business leaders’ who favour the ‘in’ campaign.
Why would they not? More profits for them.
The fact that it is keeping the British workers in the private sector on low wages is viewed as tough luck by some in the Labour party who accuse those who oppose mass immigration as racists or suffering from xenophobia, rather than people trying to get a decent standard of living for them and their families.
The various financial organisations such as the IMF who are advising us to stay in the EU aren’t exactly very good at forecasting financial trends.
They didn’t foresee the financial crash of 2007, in which millions of people lost everything.
So how can they offer advice about the future of Britain outside of the EU, when they failed on such an epic scale to warn countries about the forthcoming catastrophe.
What reason have we got to trust their judgement on this issue?
This vote will set the future for Britain for many years to come, no second chances.
This is our one and only chance to free ourselves from overseas control, to free our country, free to make our own laws and control our borders without having to ask other countries for permission.
Rather than be herded by a European political elite into some future actions which could be to our, and our grandchildren’s, detriment we should have no hesitation in voting ‘out’ and take back control of our country’s future.
– Mike Pearson, Cinderford.
