PUPILS at Yorkley Primary School took to the playground to stamp out bullying.
The two-minute exercise came at the end of a week of activities designed to teach the children how to spot bullying and what to do to stop it.
The youngsters designed posters and the school council made a presentation to pupils and parents at a special assembly.
One Year Five pupil, Fern Beddington, even wrote a poem in her own time to get the message across.
She said: “We’ve learnt a lot about the types of bullying and how to stop it and I decided to write a poem.”
Teacher Leanne Williams, who runs the school council, said: “It is about reminding children about how bullying can feel, what the signs are and what they can do to help.
“The children designed posters and they also wrote pieces as if they were being bullied and how it would feel.”
