PUPILS at Pillowell School enjoyed a visit from local author Steve Morgan along with the main character of his book ‘Stan the Orangutan’.

The children were very excited to listen to the story and enjoyed asking Steve questions regarding the book and how he became an author.

Lisa Newport at the school said: “Well done to Leo Whiteoak, Arwen Salter and Maddie Wyllie for winning a signed copy of Hi, I’m Stan and I’m an Orangutan, by asking Steve the most interesting question. 

“They are now looking forward to Steve returning to school to read his new book when it is published which has links to the Forest of Dean.”
