BORDER Counties Vintage Club will hold their annual Steam and Vintage Show at Vauxhall Fields Monmouth on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.
"We will have a large number of vintage vehicles on display from all over the country, including steam engines, military vehicles, cars, lorries and motorbikes," said show organiser Ian Harper.
"Belgian fair organs Locomotion and Victory will be playing throughout the show and into the evenings.
"We are delighted by the number of enquiries we have had for trade stands, and believe we will have significantly more than last year's show."
Other attractions include displays of model vehicles, bygone craft demonstrations, wool spinning, and fairground entertainment. The event will be fun for the entire family, with children's games and rides for the younger members, and a bar for the adults. A tug of war competition will be held on the Sunday, and local teams are invited to enter. Catering will be available, although families are encouraged to bring picnics and enjoy a leisurely day enjoying the fabulous location and attractions.
"We have been delighted by the support we have received for the show over recent years, and attendance has been growing year on year," said Mr Harper.
"As well as the commercial benefits of bringing visitors into Monmouth, the show also raises a significant amount of money for local charities."
Gates are open from 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
