A MEETING of the planning department of the Forest of Dean District Council to discuss the planning application of Asda developing a new convenience store on the old Federal Mogul site in Lydney has been postponed.

The meeting, which was scheduled yesterday (Tuesday, September 10), was postponed due to the council needing more time to look over the information.

A spokesman for the council said: "This is a complex application and the council requested additional information, which is now being evaluated. It is hoped that it will be ready to be presented at the October meeting."
