STUDENTS from Wyedean School campaigning for better safety measures on the Wye Bridge have collected more than 400 names on a petition.
The petition was handed to the Mayor of Chepstow Councillor Paul Rutter after a group of students addressed Chepstow Town Council last week.
Students' spokesperson Anna Dewar said the lack of a barrier to protect the hundreds of students who cross the bridge into Chepstow every day was "completely unacceptable".
