I WOULD like to say I totally agree with the letter "dog noise" (Review, March 28).

If you don't have a dog and you don't smoke, you're made to feel bad if you complain.

Sitting outside a cafe to have a coffee in summer is a no no if you don't smoke because smokers have been stopped from smoking inside.

Do we non-smokers complain? What's the point?

Like the writer from St Briavels I don't look forward to sitting outside in my garden because we've just moved to a place that has woods nearby.

Everyone seems to have a dog or dogs. I have nothing against dogs – it's not their fault if their owners don't take them for many walks and keep them tied up all day.

Owners need to be more considerate of people living around them and more responsible.

I have friends with dogs and the dogs are well-behaved because they are trained.

What a pity we can't all think of others more and perhaps try and live together.
