A SELECTION of commuters in Gloucestershire will be stopped by the council to answer questions about their journey patterns over the next two weeks.
Interviews will take place at five sites and should not take long to complete, Gloucestershire County Council says.
The police will be managing traffic at the sites and the information will be used for future transport and land use planning.
Cllr Stan Waddington, cabinet member for environment, said: "These roadside interviews give us vital information that will help us manage the roads in the future.
"Keeping this county moving is one of our main priorities and we need to keep up to date with travelling patterns in order to do that.
"I do appreciate that these interviews will take up motorists' time, and may cause some inconvenience, but I would ask for people to be patient if they are asked to take part as this is very important."
