A COFFEE morning organised by talented flautist Lucy Driver raised nearly £500 for the National Youth Orchestra.
She was joined for a morning of music by keyboardist Toby Napleton of Mitcheldean.
Lucy, who is 13-years-old, organised the event at the home of her grandparents Richard and Pat Lowe in Church Walk, Viney Hill.
Mrs Lowe said: "Lucy and Toby are both very talented young musicians and we are very proud that Lucy is now a member of the National Youth Orchestra.
"When she was six we took her to the ballet in Cheltenham and she spent the entire time looking in the orchestra pit at the flutes."
Members of the National Youth Orchestra agree to raise money which is matched pound-for-pound by a benefactor.
