NEARLY 80 people supported a coffee morning held to raise funds for Parkinson’s.

Members of the Inner Wheel hosted the event in Yorkley and light refreshments and 30 raffle prizes helped raise £500.

Sally Taylor said: “The morning, which was organised by Lynne Kear and other members, was held in conjunction with International Inner Wheel Day, and supporting the association charity Parkinson’s UK.

“It was a resounding success! Cake, tea, coffee, more cake, more than 30 raffle prizes, more cake, all added up to £500 being raised for the charity locally.

“People were so generous with their time and donations.”
