I would like all of you who already have their pensions and those still to receive theirs to sign my petition on the government web site direct.gov. uk/epetitions regarding the removal of income tax from those pensioners who have an income from their pensions of less that £25,000 a year.
This would give a big boost to people like me who have been working and paying income tax and National Insurance since they started work many years ago, in my case since 1960.
We paid income tax on what we earned, then governments taxed our pension funds. Now we are paying tax on the pensions we receive from those funds.
