TEAM Ginger Nuts took Tesco Lydney by storm on Saturday (April 23).

The team, which supports Cancer Research UK, staged an eight hour spinathon, from 10am to 6pm, to raise funds for the charity.

Organiser Kathy Howell, of DK Furnishing in Lydney, says: “This is part of our effort for the charity’s Relay for Life, which culminates in an event on June 25 and 26 at Freedom Leisure in Lydney. We’ve already raised nearly £2,000 and over £600 came from the event on Saturday. Members of Team Ginger Nuts and their families took turns on the spin bikes.”
