• Recently purchased on an internet auction site, this fascinating advertising card features the fleet of vehicles owned by Walkley Bros, of Cinderford. The vehicles included buses and large and small lorries and were for hire for business and pleasure parties. The photograph, obviously taken at Speech House, is thought to date back to 1912. And what about that for a telephone number: Cinderford 25!
