Since my wife and I moved here six years ago we have mourned the fact that there is no takeaway outlet nearby. The Sizzling Wok in Newent started to offer delivery a couple of years ago but no chip shop, pizza place, kebab shop or Indian will deliver this far out. 

The chefs at the Red Lion pub in Huntley started a takeaway service tonight and I have just enjoyed top notch fish and chips from them, very reasonably priced.  It is nice to see them making the effort in these depressed times and we are very pleased with our new takeaway service.
