AN evening straight from the old world of Victorian music hall is being performed at Broadwell Memorial Hall this Saturday.

Havoc Theatre’s production of Dame Nature on February 4 is an evening of stories and characters.

Dame Nature is the bearded lady is a bearded lady who has been looking after her facial furniture for as long as she can remember and recounts tales from her extraordinary life and has a hilarious and heartfelt look at a world in which, unfortunately for her, it’s not what’s on the inside that counts.

The show was one of the top features at last year’s Edinburgh Festival and has since toured the UK.

And to help promote the event locally members of Found in the Forest Youth Theatre have been busy preparing Havoc Theatre’s visit to the Forest of Dean this week.

Jamie Lee, Youth Theatre director of Found in the Forest said: “Each year our young people help to bring professional theatre shows to the Dean so that people can enjoy these high quality events without having to travel too far.

“They’ve been busy helping to publicise the event and we hope you’ll come along to support their efforts.”

Tickets for the production which is aimed at the over 11s are priced at £8 for adults with £7 for concessions and can be reserved by phoning 01989 566644.
