I REFER to the letter from a Mrs Civil. I should imagine that, at this time, there are a plethora of reasons why she would want to leave the conservative party.

Like, for instance, their cruel benefit cuts to some of the most disadvantaged in our society, their refusal to come down on fat cat bankers, their worrying plans for the NHS and their massive cuts to the police and armed forces.

But no, it's the extradition of a suspected arms dealer, who allegedly lined his own pockets, in breaking an embargo by selling missile batteries to the Iranian regime, which could well be used against our troops in future, along with David Cameron's support for gay marriage, that Mrs Civil finds so intolerable...the mind boggles.
