I have heard a rustling in the Forest recently... It has been rumoured the much loved boar young of Cannop crossroads are to be culled! These are the same creatures who appeared in the Review a short while ago having been orphaned after some trigger happy moron dispatched their mother.

Apparently the powers-that-be now think this was a good idea and are set to kill the remaining offspring, citing public safety.

Maybe it's just me but I find it sickening that we can slaughter innocent animals to maintain the safety of our roads whilst the brainless idiots who tear around the Forest on poorly managed roads (especially Cannop crossroads) are left to carry on regardless.

I sincerely hope this is just idle gossip and not a further example of council small mindedness.
