THREE cars in Ruardean were attacked overnight by thieves who sawed off their catalytic converters last week.

Forest police say the thefts happened some time between 7.30pm on Thursday, March 15 and 8.30am on Friday, March 16.

The converters were cut from a silver Renault Megane and brown Jeep in Highfield Road and a red Citroen Picasso in St Margaret's Road.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or with any information on the thefts should call the new non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 135 of March 16, say the police.
