•Celebrating decades of churchgoing are Mary Ball, Flo (Florence) Smith and Gladys Milner who have all been worshipping at St Andrew, Alvington and St Andrew, Woolaston, for too many years to recall. Rev Tony Jones (pictured) said: "These nonagenarian ladies were part of the large congregation celebrating Easter and the baptism of Edward, my grandson." Mary and Flo have been worshipping at the churches all their lives and were baptised and married at them. As a relative newcomer, Gladys has managed a mere 30 years or so.
