UNANIMOUS support has been given for the building of a bridge to carry cycles over the B4234 close to the Pedalabikeaway centre near Cannop.

The bridge will cross close to a former railway bridge. Speaking at the Forest of Dean District Council's development control committee Cllr Marrilyn Smart OBE said: "I think this application is great, it ensures the safety of cyclists and I say go for it."
