THE latest Ofsted boarding inspection has rated St John's on the Hill as 'outstanding'.
The report states: "The school recognises the difficulties that boarders face when living away from home, particularly the youngest children and overseas students, and the school makes special provision to help them settle."
It goes on to say: "Boarders receive individualised care and support.... the school values the contribution that boarding makes to the ethos of the school."
Chris Murray, head of boarding at St John's said: "We are all delighted that the inspection has fully endorsed the value that the boarding experience adds to life at St. John's."
