IT'S time to slap on the David Bowie make-up, pile up the hair, bring out the glitter and go back to the 70s for a full on charity disco.

The 1970s disco is the brainchild of Debbie Hutchinson from Coleford following a 1980s themed school reunion and money raised will go to Great Oaks.

The 70s gig will be at Bells on October 8. Everyone is welcome and you don't have to squeeze into your silver platform boots and knot on a really wide tie if you don't want to. Just come along and enjoy a top disco belting out tracks of the decade from Tiger Feet and Spirit in the Sky to Maggie May. Whether Grandad, Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep or Puppy Love by Donny Osmond will be on the turntables remains to be seen.
