POLICE have appealed for information after a mountain bike and bottles of wine, port, gin, vodka and champagne were stolen in a weekend break-in.

The burglary happened at a garage in Castle Wood, Chepstow, between 10pm on Friday, September 21, and 5pm on Sunday, September 23,

The mountain bike was a Whistle model featuring a black frame and orange ‘Whistle’ lettering.

Along with the alcohol, the total value of the haul amounted to around £1,000.
