PUZZLEWOOD features in the opening and closing sequences of a new Cbeebies adventure programme called Tree Fu Tom.

The first 13 episodes of the 26 being created for series 1 will be broadcast on CBeebies every day from Monday to Friday in the 5.25pm timeslot. There will also be repeats at the weekend.

After a week or two Tree Fu Tom will also be broadcast in the CBeebies morning block on BBC2. Former Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Sophie Aldred voice the lead characters Tom (Aldred) and Twigs (Tennant) in the new multi-platform fantasy action adventure series.

In parallel the BBC will be launching the Tree Fu Tom online experience with six games and two interactive adventure narratives with webcam technology that allows children to make Tree Fu Magic.

"Let's hope it's a huge success for everyone," said a Puzzlewood spokesman.
