THERE were hugs in Ross-on-Wye this week when Georgia Davis met up with two friends she made on a student exchange visit to Uganda.
Sulaiman Kasibi, the students' driver and Hope Ssonko, deputy headmistress of Kisiki College in Namutumba (which is twinned with Ross), are visiting England for the first time. The trio first met last year when Georgia and 13 other John Kyrle students were able to visit Uganda for what turned out to be a life changing experience for many of them. Georgia is now studying to become a teacher at Bristol U.W.E. but is currently home on leave working with her former part time employers Pots and Pieces teashop.
