IN last week's Review you published a letter I wrote concerning the No 73 bus route under the heading of 'Bite the bullet'.

Unfortunately you 'doctored' the final paragraph which read..."people before necessary profit". This should have read, as I intended – "people before unnecessary profit." Since in my opinion, in view of the overall profit made by the Stagecoach operations it is not necessary to make a profit on each and every bus route. The No 73 Lydney to Chepstow is a classic example of this fact and accordingly the word unnecessary is perfectly correct in this instance and the word necessary detracts from the point I am trying to make. – Robert Road, Lydney.
