HAVING read the Review’s article about the boar in Cinderford, I would like point out that a large boar was seen walking down Heywood Road towards High St at 7.55am this morning (January 20).

This is extremely serious as the boar have never been seen walking on the pavement so close to the town centre in all my years of living here!

I hope this situation might be relayed to the district council offices, as it was a large animal that I feel could attack children walking to school at this time. – D J Osgood, Cinderford.
