Road closures: four for the Forest of Dean drivers over the next fortnightMartin Whitehouse of Mitcheldean, who has been working with the branch since his grandson was diagnosed with the muscle wasting condition, hopes this year’s event will raise as much as last year – if not more.
He said: "We raised more than £1,300 last year so to match that or exceed it would be fantastic. All the money raised will go towards supporting vital research into the condition."
The show takes place on Saturday, October 15 Oct at Xerox Club Mitcheldean.
Martin added: “There is a fantastic line-up this year featuring dancing to the well-known and popular duo Which Ones Gerry, Miraculous Magic, comedy from the Two Tommys (Tommy Cooper meets Tom Jones), vocals from Jess Burton, Maddy Goddings Theatre Art, Michael Paris Mindreader and special guests: Syren and Mirage dance groups, who perform anything from gypsy themes to belly dancing.”
Tickets are available from Martin on 07796585255 or at Mitcheldean Library.
