A SECOND woman has applied to become a Forest free miner. The Review understands Violet Wilkes (formerly Morgan) of Steam Mills applied to the Forest's Deputy Gaveller, John Harvey, earlier this week (October 12). Mrs Wilkes is believed to have formerly worked at the New Found Out Colliery.
