DISTRAUGHT visitors from Wigan are desperate for any news of their black-and-white spaniel which went missising in the Cinderford area.
Poppy, who is 12 years-old, ran off last Thursday (February 14) from a Cinderford garden and was later spotted in the Heywood area.
"She doesn't know the area at all, and she is quite shy," said owner Wendy Potter. "People have been trying to approach her but she just runs off again.
"She has since been seen in the Flaxley Abbey area and then on Saturday at Blaisedon, then later back near Heywood. She is probably quite tired by now."
Mrs Potter praised local people for the effort they had put into looking for Poppy.
"They have been out 24-7. I am really grateful for all the searching and for the support they have given us. They are really lovely people."
If anyone spots Poppy they can call Mrs Potter on 07900 102957 or her Forest contact Jane on 07881 743637.
